A316 is a non-magnetic alloy chain, composed of Manganese, Chromium, Nickel and Molybdenum, made to ASTM 80 specifications. It is highly resistant to salt water and chemicals and will not spark. Its uses include food processing, marine, fishing and industrial applications when high corrosion resistance is required.

A304 is a longer pitch link made to NACM specifications and the alloying components exclude the use of Molybdenum. It has lower Working Load Limits than A316 and is used mainly for decorative and low load applications. Order unit is foot.
