Eye Sling Hook Heavy Duty Lifting Hook
The Eye Sling Hook is a heavy-duty lifting component designed for safe and reliable load handling applications. Manufactured through a sophisticated forging and stamping process, the hook features a compact construction that provides high load capacity while maintaining minimum product weight. Its large hook mouth, extra-wide hook point, and safety catch are designed to provide secure and dependable lifting performance.
The hook is designed with a flat eye section that allows compatibility with alternative connecting systems. Its construction provides excellent directional stability and effective guidance of the safety catch. The hook is particularly suitable for the assembly of welded and assembled rope lashings, while the safety catch helps protect against accidental hooking and lateral movement during lifting operations.
The Eye Sling Hook is forged from super alloy steel and is quenched and tempered for demanding lifting applications. It is suitable for EN818-2 G80 chain and is individually proof tested at 2.5 times the Working Load Limit. The product is also fatigue tested at 1.5 times the Working Load Limit for 20,000 cycles, with breakage and fatigue testing, 100% Magnaflux crack detection, a cast latch, and a powder-plastified surface finish.
